Paths.

Somewhere into this trip, as I made friends who have since gone home, and as surviving the day was no longer enough to impress myself, making every day a story, proof I’m doing something right over here, became the goal. Interlaken – the gateway to adventure and budget breaking, beautiful views and $100 train rides to get better beautiful views. The single thing that stopped me from skydiving this morning was how cloudy it was. I’d hate to jump out of a plane and not see anything. It’s cleared up since, but the urge has passed.

I always forget that soon, it’s not everyday I’ll be able to stroll along a river listening to James Taylor. “Your Smiling Face” and “How Sweet It Is” have been up in my top fifteen favorite songs forever. How this song never caught my attention until the train yesterday, I don’t know. Soundtrack through Switzerland.

Anyway, that is probably all today’s story will be, and that’s okay.
